I am imprisoned by humanity. Are you? You are as long as you feel that way.
Humans have abilities. Humans do not have all the abilities concievable by our feeble minds. Why feeble? Because though we might be the most dominating species in our planet, we cannot picture infinity, among other things.
Our bodies are made up of cells, single, living organisms controlled by our brain. Technically, parts of us die and get born everyday but we still feel alive. Right now, you are probably shedding some of your skin cells which have already died. What do I mean by this? Humans are multi-cellular organisms programmed to stay alive as a whole. However the fact that we cannot do so, the fact that our mind cannot stay alive for eternity, proves that we are limited. However, our cells accept death when their time comes and get replaced as if nothing happened at all. Why can't we take this example and treat our lives the same way? I'm not saying you should seek death... just do not fear it.
We feel pain and pleasure. It is our body's way of telling our minds about what is good for it and what is bad for it. Don't you think it's quite sad for us to be guided by something as primitive that? Well I don't. Unfortunately, I'm one of those crazy people who seek pain in the form of exercise. Exercise which never seems to get me anywhere. All it does is make me more durable. Ah well... it's not like I have a choice whether to do it or not... wait... I do... Oh no... I'm getting crazier!
I'm really sleepy now. Great, another human limitation. So have fun on Good Friday! Get some while you still can.
